This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) describes how EnginePro (the “Processor”) processes personal data on behalf of the Customer (the “Controller”) in connection with the Services. The Controller determines the purposes and means of processing employee data; the Processor acts on the Controller’s documented instructions.
Depending on enabled features, processing may include:
Data subjects may include the Customer’s employees, managers, administrators and other authorised users of the Services.
EnginePro processes personal data to provide and support the Services, including HR, attendance, leave, payroll, tasks, tickets, reminders, reporting and performance functionality, as well as security, diagnostics and support.
EnginePro ensures that personnel authorised to process personal data are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.
EnginePro implements appropriate technical and organisational measures, including role-based access control, encryption in transit, secure cloud infrastructure, audit logging, monitoring and least-privilege access. See our Security page.
EnginePro may engage subprocessors to support the Services under written agreements imposing data protection obligations. Categories of subprocessors are listed on our Subprocessors page. We will inform the Controller of changes as required.
EnginePro will assist the Controller, taking into account the nature of processing, in responding to data subject requests (such as access, correction, deletion, export and restriction), including by providing tools or forwarding requests to the Controller.
Personal data is retained for the duration of the Services and as instructed by the Controller, subject to legal retention requirements. Deletion and correction requests are handled per our data request process.
Upon termination of the Services, EnginePro will, at the Controller’s choice and as agreed, return or delete personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, EnginePro will apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.
EnginePro will make available information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA and will cooperate with audits as agreed and permitted by applicable law and security constraints.
